Access Israel launches Independence Day fundraiser

The NGO Access Israel, which works to advance the rights of people with disabilities in the country, launched a new fundraising campaign on Monday, ahead of Independence Day next week.

The campaign, entitled “We all deserve daily independence”, is aimed at raising awareness on the issue of handicap access in Israel and encourage the public to donate a minimum of NIS 5 for the organization at the supermarket chains Yesh and Shufersal.The NGO designed a poster for the initiative showing an Israeli flag on which a handicap sign replaces the star of David.

The fundraiser will take place for 10 days and close on April 19th.
