Former Canadian Minister of Justice to help bring Goldin to Israel

The parents of fallen IDF Lt Hadar Goldin have added former Canadian Minister of Justice Irwin Cotler to the international team of experts working on bringing his remains back to Israel for burial.

One of the highly noted Jewish-Canadian legal experts in the world, Cotler is much respected in the field of International Humanitarian law and had worked on behalf of such noted people as Nelson Mandela and Natan Sharansky.

The remains of Lt. Goldin had been taken by Hamas in 2014, he was killed hours after a United Nations- and US-brokered humanitarian cease-fire between Israel and Hamas went into effect.
