The gift market in Israel is growing in both the private and business sectors, with demand for gifts throughout the year, especially during holidays and special events. A new player has entered the scene with a new technological interface called FLIK-LUCK, offering a wide, experiential, and fast solution to consumers.

The launch of the new interface will focus on the Gush Dan area, which includes about 12 cities from Herzliya in the north, Petah Tikva and the Kiryat Ono region in the east, and Rehovot in the south. The company plans to expand to additional cities across the country.

The service operates Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM and on Fridays and holiday eves from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, via the website and the app, which is available for both iPhone and Android. During the launch week, there will be a 20% discount on every purchase until November 26, 2024.

FLIK-LUCK was founded in 2023 by owners Miki and Lior Bados as a family business with the aim of developing an accessible platform (website and app) for marketing diverse gift packages at various price ranges, with fast delivery and technological innovation that identifies the recipient's details and allows for adding a digital greeting.

Lior Bados, CEO of FLIK-LUCK, said: "We have always loved being involved in businesses that create a positive experience for customers, both in the restaurant and event industries. Today, we are more excited than ever to enter the gift market in Israel and offer a wide, experiential, and fast solution to consumers while using advanced technology that manages to preserve the element of surprise. With the new platform, we believe we will reach a large market of end consumers as well as the business market, where we can assist with fast shipping and a variety of products for sale. We believe the market is growing, and we aim to reach about 1,500 packages per month, and eventually, we also want to create a private label and reach every home in Israel."

The vision of the Bados family is to create a new language in the gift market, alongside an experiential interface where the customer enters and chooses a package based on category/need/price. After making a selection, the customer enters their details and the recipient's phone number, and FLIK-LUCK uses technology to locate the recipient's address. The gift is then sent with a written or filmed greeting within two hours of entering the data within the Gush Dan area (from Herzliya to Rehovot), and later, to other cities nationwide within three business days. One of the company's advantages is that it maintains the element of surprise, meaning that only after the delivery person hands over the package to the recipient does the recipient receive a message with the greeting. Throughout the process, from the order to delivery, the customer placing the order is updated at every stage.

The advanced technology of the system is based on smart automation and integration with various platforms, such as WhatsApp, for managing and coordinating deliveries in real time. The system allows users to create and personalize digital greetings, with the option to add images and videos, which are sent automatically along with the gift. Additionally, the system seamlessly integrates with leading payment service providers, ensuring a secure and fast payment process. The main advantage of the technology lies in its ability to provide an intuitive user experience that reduces ordering time and ensures that gifts reach their destination quickly and accurately, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

FLIK-LUCK recognized the increased demand and search for solutions for gift packages for both private customers and the business sector. For the private customer, the packages are divided into five categories, including: "For Women," "For Men," "For New Mothers," "For Hosting," and more. The packages range in price from NIS 150-1,399, including delivery. Each package is carefully selected and personally tailored to the type of event by a designer working with the company, and new products, replenishments, and categories for specific occasions (holidays, special days) are added as needed. For the business customer: The company allows the customer to assemble gifts with a defined and flexible budget for employee committees.

In 2024, FLIK-LUCK leased a warehouse and offices in central Tel Aviv, covering approximately 700 square meters, with an investment of NIS 5M for creating the gift packages, storing hundreds of products, providing a showroom for business customers, and mainly for the strategic location to ensure deliveries reach their destination (within two hours) as promised.

The company is based on a business model that targets private customers through television and digital media advertising, alongside marketing and client recruitment for businesses. As part of the brand’s market penetration, the company will launch a public relations campaign featuring a commercial starring singer Eden Ben Zaken.
