Health Ministry gets new deputy director-general

Lawyer Yoel Lifschitz has been appointed Health Ministry acting deputy director-general in charge of supervising the health funds and additional health services, the ministry announced Tuesday. He replaces Michal Abadi-Boyanjo, who left the ministry a month ago to become chief accountant of the First International Bank. Lifschitz has been working in the ministry's legal office for nine years and specializes in the field of medical technologies, licensing of drugs and equipment, clinical experimentation, cosmetics and the economics of pharmaceuticals.
