US Presidential First Daughter Ivanka Trump posted on Instagram a picture of an oversized clam stuffed with debris on Friday as a suggested Thanksgiving center piece. Twitter erupted with criticism of the picture and US President Donald Trump's politics.

The Instagram post was linked to Twitter and followers on Twitter quickly began posting pictures of trash as their suggested centerpiece, mocking the first daughter.

Other followers on Twitter used the trending topic as an opportunity to criticize the political policies of her father, President Donald Trump.
Reoccurring themes included Trump's policies on ending medicaid subsidies and raising American healthcare premiums, the end of restrictions on importing African wildlife game and Trump's support for Secretary of Treasury Steve Mnuchin
