On Sunday the state lottery, Mifal HaPayis, announced 10 winners of the Landau Awards for Stage Arts, with prizes totalling NIS 500,000. The prizes, which are awarded for excellence in different fields of the Arts, went to singers Meir Banai and Keren Peles, Yossi and Jagger director Eytan Fox, choreographer Yonathan Karmon, documentary filmmaker Ruth Walk, stage actor and director Adiv Jashan, stage actress Naomi Yoeli, classical composer Menachem Weisenberg, classical pianist Esterit Balzan, and jazz musician Harold Robin. The winners will be honored on March 10 at the Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel Aviv. On March 13 the ceremony will air on Channel 1.
