Chairman of the Labor party, Avi Gabbay, wished Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu success in his Thursday meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the Zionist Union.But, he said Wednesday, he is not optimistic."The Iranians, and especially the Shi'ite militias that brought them to Syria, are the real force on the ground, not the Russian air force." he said. "Our strength lies in our deterrent capability and, as in any past security challenge, we must rely on ourselves and not on others."
