German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle on Friday condemned the delivery of weapons to the embattled Assad regime in Syria, calling "totally wrong".
Russia has come under pressure to cancel the sale of advanced anti-aircraft missiles to the Syrian regime, which has for two years been battling opposition forces fighting to oust Syria President Bashar Assad.
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon has warned Syria over the weapons acquisition, saying that Israel knows how to deal with such a situation.
