IDF, Border Police destroy home of Ammunition Hill shooter

In a joint operation carried out by the IDF, Israel Border Police and the Civil Administration, the family home of a suspected terrorist was demolished overnight in the Arab village of Kfar Akab.
The home of Abu Sabih Misbah, suspected of perpetrating a terrorist attack which began near Israel Police headquarters across the street from the Ammunition Hill light rail stop in northeastern Jerusalem, was destroyed in accordance with orders outlined by government policy, according to an IDF spokesperson.
Misbah is accused of shooting and killing Adv.-Staff-Sgt.-Maj. Yosef Kirma, 29, a Special Patrol officer, and Levana Malichi, 60, a former Knesset employee, in a drive-by attack in the capital on October 9, 2016.
Misbah, a 39-year old resident of the Silwan neighborhood, just south of the Old City, was shot dead during an exchange of gunfire with police.
