Israel to host second anti-BDS summit at UN headquarters

NEW YORK - The Israeli mission to the United Nations will host its second summit against the Boycott, Divest and Sanction movement at the UN headquarters on Wednesday.
The first such event was held in May last year with some 1,500 people in attendance, making it the largest anti-BDS gathering to date.
This year, the mission said it expects over 2,000 people to gather in the symbolic General Assembly hall for the conference, which will constitute "a remarkable show of support for the Jewish state at the UN".
Participants will including pro-Israel activists, students, representatives of Jewish organizations as well as representatives of some UN member states.
Panelists and speakers will discuss how to fight the boycott efforts against Israel on campus, online and in the private sector.
