Led by a former president, opponents to Colombian peace process take to streets

Scores of Colombians including former soldiers came out to the streets Saturday in more than 20 cities to express opposition to President Juan Manuel Santos and his efforts to deliver peace after a half-century of internal conflict with rebels. The protesters see Santos as caving too much to rebels' demands, while also failing to deliver on a host of other policies in the education, employment and health sectors, among others.
Santos's favourable rating in polls has sunk to 25 percent, according to media reports.
The rallies were organised in Bogota, Cartagena and Medellin, among other cities.
