UN: Palestinian unity government crucial for Gaza recovery

The United Nations released a report Monday saying that a unified, Palestinian government is crucial in helping Gaza recover and rebuild following Operation Protective Edge.The report also blamed supposed Palestinian confrontations with Israelis and IDF soldiers as a major sign of the deterioration of the situation in the West Bank.A committee hosted by UN chief Ban Ki-Moon is set to discuss the report further on September 22, two days before the UN General Assembly convenes.
