Some 1,500 lesser spotted eagles rose above the Ben Shemen Forest on Tuesday morning, captivating bird-watching enthusiasts as they passed overhead along their autumn migration route from Europe to Africa.While the bird migration season continues in the coming days, observers will be able to witness tens of thousands of migratory animals – like eagles, pelicans and hawks in Israel's skies, the Society for the Protection of Nature's Israel Ornithological Center said.
