Litzman promises continued medical cooperation with Ivory Coast in meeting with its health minister
The West African country and Israel have very good diplomatic ties and cooperation between their health systems.

Deputy Health Minister MK Ya’acov Litzman hosted the Ivory Coast’s Health Minister Dr. Raymonde Goudou Coffie and its ambassador to Israel, Jean-Baptiste Gomis in his office on Tuesday as Goudou Coffie arrived for a “learning tour” of hospitals here.“I am interested in learning from the deputy minister how to develop excellent emergency medicine like Israel’s,” she said.The two counterparts noted the very good diplomatic ties between the countries and cooperation between their health systems, and it was agreed to continue and boost the cooperation in health and various medical topics such as exchanges of information; hosting of experts and training of doctors and medical teams in emergency medicine; prevention of infectious diseases; and related topics.
