Minutes after bombing, Palestinians open fire at Israeli workers along Gaza border; car passing was hit, driver treated for light wounds.

Two Palestinians were killed on Tuesday after the Israel Air Force bombed a Global Jihad terror cell preparing to launch a rocket into Israel in the central Gaza Strip.The attack was a joint IDF-Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) operation, and the two Palestinians killed were identified as Mohammed Sa’id and Kamal Abu Moamer – known Global Jihad operatives based in the southern Gaza Strip.RELATED:IAF strikes Gaza following rocket fire at western NegevAfter 2 months of quiet, Kassam rocket fired from GazaSecurity officials said that the two were attacked as they were preparing to launch a rocket into Israel.Minutes after the bombing, Palestinians opened fire at Israeli workers along the border of the Gaza Strip. A car passing nearby was hit and the driver was treated at the scene for light wounds.The attack on Tuesday broke a two-month long lull in violence along the Gaza border.In June, four rockets were fired into Israel, and a total of 47 terrorist attacks were perpetrated by Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem – compared to 72 in May.
