Reservist injured by rocket in Eshkol dies of wounds
Capt. Boris Yarmulnik is 6th Israeli killed in Gaza conflict.

An IDF reserve soldier critically wounded on Wednesday by a rocket attack in the Eshkol area died of his injuries Thursday.He was named as 28-year-old Capt. Boris Yarmulnik, of Netanya. The IDF has notified his family.Four other soldiers were wounded lightly in a rocket attack Wednesday, and airlifted to hospital.Yarmulnik became the sixth Israeli citizen killed in rocket attacks from Gaza during Operation Pillar of Defense.Cpl. Yosef Partuk, 18, of Emanuel was killed Tuesday morning in a mortar attack in the Eshkol Regional Council area, along with a civilian from a Beduin village in the South, Alian Salem Alanbari.Last week, Mirah Scharf, 25, Aharon Smadja, 49, and Itzik Amsalem, 27, were killed in a direct hit by a rocket on an apartment building in Kiryat Malachi.More than 1,500 rockets were fired into Israel in the eight days of Operation Pillar of Defense.Jpost.com staff contributed to this report.
