University students interrupt former Shin Bet chief, calling him a "war criminal" and saying "we'll see you at the Hague."

Kadima MK and former Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) chief Avi Dichter was heckeled during a speech and called a "war crimninal" in both English and Hebrew at Brandeis University in Boston, Massachusettes on Monday.Dichter served as Shin Bet chief during the second Intifada and previously had a class action lawsuit against him dismissed which charged him with extrajudicial killing, war crimes and other gross human rights violations in a 2002 targeted killing in Gaza.Students from the group Brandeis Students for Justice in Palestine stood up during Dichter's speech, shouting that he was "wanted for crimes against humanity" and wanted for torture. They added "Don't worry Avi Dichter, we'll see you at the Hague," eluding to the International Criminal Court.Dichter is currently visiting the United States with five other Israeli lawmakers from the Likud, Labor and Kadima parties to study American Jewish life as part of the inaugural Ruderman Fellows Program.JTA contributed to this report
