Migron outpost residents petition HCJ to delay evacuation

Migron outpost residents on Monday afternoon petitioned the High Court of Justice to delay the evacuation of the 50 families that live there until such time as their new homes are ready.
The petition comes less than a day before the families the date mandated by the High Court of Justice by which the families must move from the site where their homes are now located.
The court had ordered the families to leave because their homes were built without permits on land classified by the state as belonging to private Palestinians.
Last week the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Maj. Gen. Eitan Dangot sent a letter to Binyamin Regional Council head Avi Ro’eh in which he said that according to the court mandate, the families must live their homes by the morning of August 28.
