A man is suspected of pushing his 19-year-old wife from a moving car, leading to her death in the West Bank on Monday. The incident occurred on Route 5504 between the Eyal and Tzofim settlements in the West Bank, and emergency medical responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene from severe head injuries.Police suspicions arose that the 34-year-old suspect may have pushed his wife after police questioned him multiple times and allegedly found contradictions, while the suspect denies the allegations, asserting that his late wife jumped from the car during an argument. The suspect’s car was also not at the scene when police arrived, arousing more suspicions. The husband was subsequently arrested on Tuesday and his remand extended late Tuesday night in the Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court until Thursday. The court placed a gag order on the identity of the suspect and the victim in the case.“He of course denies throwing her out of the car,” the suspect’s attorney, Ori Ben Asher told The Jerusalem Post, “In a day or two we should be able to say more.”The incident comes after three woman were killed within seven days in late March and early April of this year.
