Tens of thousands race through Tel Aviv in sixth annual night run
More than 25,000 participants run through the "City that Never Sleeps" in 10km urban race.

More than 25,000 runners took to the streets of Tel Aviv on Tuesday night for the sixth annual Tel Aviv Night Run.Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai kicked off the 10 kilometer urban race from the starting point at Rabin Square.Thousand of spectators cheered on the record number of participants, among them IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz, as they ran through specially lit and glowing streets in the "City that Never Sleeps." The run ended at Ganei Yehoshua in Yarkon Park.Finishing first in the men's division was Noam Naman with a time of 30 minutes and 33.53 seconds, followed by Razi Abdul-Jabar at 30:55.90 and Dror Manor in third place with a time of 31:58.40.Ella Pinos placed first in the women's division, finishing the race in 38 minutes and 33.53 seconds. Rachel Gezer Tzaduk was the runner-up at 38:54.03 and Shiri Friedman finished in third place with a time of 39:52.02.Magen David Adom paramedics on Tuesday night treated 55 Tel Aviv Night Run participants who suffered from dehydration and minor injuries.
