Netanyahu marks MASA Israel's 10th anniversary by meeting with participants
Prime minister praises program as way to "link the Jewish People with the State of Israel and the Land of Israel."

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu took time out Sunday to meet with a group of Jewish young adults visiting Israel on the MASA Israel Journey on the occasion of the program's tenth anniversary.MASA Israel is a joint government-Jewish Agency project for Jews between the ages of 18 to 30. Through over 250 programs, MASA participants study, volunteer and intern in Israel for five months to a year. This year some 11,000 young people came to Israel through MASA programs.Netanyahu praised the program at the opening of Sunday's weekly cabinet meeting, saying, "This meeting, of thousands of young people, over the past decade is one of the ways to link the Jewish People with the State of Israel and the Land of Israel. This is a welcome thing."
