In a Friday sermon in Jerusalem earlier this month, Muslim cleric Sheikh Issam Amira slammed presidential candidate Donald Trump's plan to move the Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza Strip to Puerto Rico in order to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. But the supposed plan was reported in satirical news piece posted on a comedy news site that produces spoof articles and the sheikh was seemingly duped. The comedy site wrote that the billionaire's "Trump Solution" rolled out at a Manhattan press conference would "give the US territory of Puerto Rico to the Palestinians as compensation for surrendering to Israel." In an August 7 Friday sermon in Jerusalem, Sheik Issam Amira slammed the "plan", MEMRI, the Middle East Media Research Institute reported. "Palestine is not the same as Puerto Rico, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque is not a mere building made of stone," Amira preached in response to the fake report.
