Famous graffiti artist Hector 'Nicer' Nazario is probably not a name one associates with the settlement movement. But for this Bronx native, Israel is almost a second home and when the offer came, he was quick to join "Artists for Israel's" tour of Ariel this week.Nazario was one of seven renowned artists painting in the settlement in response to the actors’ boycott of Ariel and the uproar the followed it last week. The artists decided to break what they say is an artistic siege on the West Bank city."I grew up in a poor neighborhood of south Bronx, where i was not taught about art,"says Nazario, "that's why i want kids everywhere to see art no matter what the cause or politics."
