Popular American-born singer/songwriter Adina Feldman is back singing songs made famous by American female singers. In "Collage shel Isha" (A Collage of Women's Voices) Feldman says she "merges 20th century American culture, femininity and a modern Israeli sensibility."
The musical presentation explores the many facets of a woman's life through music and the spoken word. Feldman performs the songs of legendary female vocal artists, including The Andrew Sisters, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Bette Midler, Carly Simon and Barbra Streisand, along with her own musical compositions. Feldman recently released her debut CD, Here You Are.
A Collage of Women's Voices will take place Saturday night, February 16 at the Givatayim Theater at 9 p.m. For tickets: (03) 732-5340.
