Simone Burns, an international human rights lawyer and BDS activist, was jailed for six months after video footage emerged in which she launched into a drunken, racist tirade on an Air India flight, according to the Daily Mail.
In the video, Burns (also known as Simone O'Broin) can be seen abusing the flight crew. She spat on one crew member and called another an "Indian money-grubbing bastard."

She also shouted, apparently after a passenger threatened to report her to the police, "Are you f***ing joking me? I'm a f***ing barrister. A human rights lawyer, and an international criminal lawyer. For the f***ing Palestinian people."
Burns was furious when the staff refused to give her more alcohol and forbade her from smoking during the flight.
She pleaded guilty to charges of assault and being drunk on an aircraft at a London court on Thursday.
The lawyer for the defense, Mark Kimsey, said that Burns had received death threats from online trolls, and that she doesn't leave her home anymore.
