Far-right party wins seats in Spain's Andalusia region

MADRID - Spain's far-right Vox party won 12 seats in a regional election in Andalusia on Sunday, according to preliminary results, a first in decades for a far-right party in Spain.
The preliminary official results, with 87 percent of votes counted, showed the Socialists getting most seats, but falling well short of a majority with only 34 of the regional parliament's 109 seats.
Vote were widely distributed, with the conservative People's Party seen getting 26 seats, the center-right Ciudadanos 20 and the far-left Podemos 17.
Vox could potentially end up as a kingmaker if it were to back a possible alliance between the People's Party and Ciudadanos.
