The IDF announced that it had seized several M16 weapons from a suspicious vehicle on Thursday near the Palestinian village Ras Karkar, just north of Ramallah, in the West Bank. 'A short while ago, IDF soldiers identified a suspicious vehicle near the village of in the area of the Ephraim Regional Brigade,' it said in a statement. 'While searching the vehicle, the soldiers seized M16 weapons.' 'The suspect and the weapons were transferred to security forces for further investigation,' the IDF added.
