BAGHDAD - US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have handed over 280 Iraqi Islamic State fighters to Iraq so far, a statement from Iraq's military said on Sunday. The statement said that this group was part of a larger contingent of more than 500 Iraqis in SDF custody inside Syria. The process was still ongoing to repatriate the rest.
