Police opened fire on a 24 year old man who rushed at them holding a knife in Bat Yam on Friday. The unnamed man was taken to Wolfson Medical Center where he was announced dead, Maariv reported.
The young man is alleged to have suffered from PTSD and to have threatened his mother before the incident.
The investigation is still ongoing.
