Imagine a world where our smart devices are able to hear when we are in danger and automatically call for rescue. Sounds cool? So guess what? That is exactly what AbiliSense does! It empowers IoT with smart listening abilities.
AbiliSense technology continuously monitors sounds from home, work, city and transport environments, and provides assistance for life-threatening or unexpected situations, based on sound analysis using unique algorithms.
Once the technology has detected an important sound based on the user’s preferences and definition, notifications will be sent in real-time directly to relatives and/or emergency call-centers via IoT devices, mobile apps and smart bracelets.
For example, if your mother is home alone and suddenly slips and falls down, her smart-TV with AbiliTechnology. (Illustrative)Sense technology will send an alert to you immediately.
Or, if your child is playing a video game and a fire alarm goes off, the game console with AbiliSense technology will send alerts through multiple IoT devices and make sure that you are notified as well.
AbiliSense’s technology is flexible and able to be integrated into many services and products.
The advanced solution includes intelligent listening capabilities, as well as the ability to receive and track sounds through a smart device microphone. It then forwards the sounds to an identification engine which operates in real time or on “investigation” mode. Once the sound is received, a pre-processing function analyses the sound quality in order to accurately decode the sound.
The sound recognition engine has features that include automatic sound analysis and classification, which locates and characterizes all significant events that may produce the sound segment.
AbiliSense’s technology first captures only important sound events through context-sensitive analysis and then the engine sends sound recognition results to the various systems as defined, either to predefined contacts, IoT devices, or directly to various authorities’ call-centers.
