Hulyo, the popular Israeli last-minute flight purchasing app, began a pop-up sale on Sunday on last-minute flights that depart the day of the elections as a pop-up campaign. If someone were to order a flight through the Hulyo app for election day, they would receive a full refund for the flight tickets if they send a picture of their passport and suitcase outside the voting polls, on the way to vacation. The traveller must upload the picture to social media with the hashtag #HulyoElections (#חוליובחירות).The campaign encourages customers to both vote in the coming elections on Tuesday as well as to travel with the company.48 hours before the polls open, the app will open the option to order flights in the form of elections. Anyone who orders a flight to any of the assigned "Hulyo destinations" for election day will be entitled to a $50 gift or alternatively, they may enjoy a pair of tickets for a concert from a selection of performances offered on the app."We found it appropriate to gift the citizens of Israel on a sabbatical and to take advantage of it for vacation and recreation with the right to choose and to have an influence," said CEO Carmit Dotan. "This is Hulyo's contribution to encourage voting and to increase the voter turnout in the elections for the 21st Knesset."
