Spring reminds us that at Mount Arbel there are lookout points, beautiful walking trails for the whole family and a fascinating history.
Come and get to know the plants and animals through the eyes of an ecologist, answer riddles and learn about the ancient history of King Herod and more recent history by meeting the researcher Henry Baker Tristram, who will tell you about the Syrian Bear and the nesting vultures that he saw here 156 years ago.
Families with children seven years old and up are invited to continue the hike on the more challenging trails.
At the end of the missions and challenges, there will be a certification ceremony for young inspectors.

Ancient crafts next to the caves in Beit Guvrin
At the end of the winter season, Beit Guvrin National Park is covered in green and blooms with beautiful colors, the caves are sparkling and all are invited to come and walk around. The Nature and Parks Authority has decided to prepare a special, small taste of the early crafts that characterized the periods that the early residents of Maresha and Beit Guvrin lived in. In the courtyard of ancient crafts (next to parking A), two craftsmen will alternate. They’ll show you examples of their work and display their products, so you can be impressed by blacksmithing, thread spinning, fabric weaving and coin minting.
