Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the attack occurred shortly after 1 a.m., following which officers identified three vehicles driving erratically at high speed.During a brief pursuit, one of the vehicles crashed into an electricity pole, Rosenfeld said, and the driver was detained after attempting to flee on foot.Upon inspecting the vehicle, officers found three more pipe bombs, which were defused by sappers.While the suspect, described as an Abu Dis resident in his 20s, was being placed under arrest, two Border Police officers were lightly wounded by rocks thrown when a small riot erupted nearby.The wounded officers were transferred to Hadassah-University Medical Center on Mount Scopus for treatment, Rosenfeld said.
