IDF soldiers fired at a Palestinian who threw grenades at the Gaza border on Wednesday, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement. The Palestinian also carried a knife.
 
An Egyptian-brokered ceasefire was reached between Israel and Hamas on Tuesday evening after more than 460 rockets were fired at Israel by Hamas and the Islamic Jihad, and after early-morning rocket sirens were heard across Gaza border communities.
 
Some 100 rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system and the IDF attacked 160 targets in the Gaza Strip, the military reported.

Residents of Gaza border communities burned tires and blocked roads in Sderot and Nir Am on Tuesday night, protesting the ceasefire agreed to by Israel and Hamas.
