President Rivlin congratulates Jordan on Independence Day in Arabic

President Rivlin opened his speech in Arabic, greeting Jordan's King Abdullah and the royal family, as well as the Jordanian Ambassador to Israel.

Rivlin congradulates Jordan on its 70th Independence Day
In an official ceremony organized by the Jordanian Embassy in Israel on Thursday, President Reuven Rivlin delivered a speech in Arabic, extending his greetings for the Hashemite Kingdom on its Independence Day.
On Wednesday, Jordan marked its 70th Independence Day with official ceremonies held across the kingdom.
Many senior Jordanian officials in Israel, including the Ambassador to Tel Aviv, Walid Obeidat, attended the ceremony that took place Thursday at Dan Panorama Hotel.
President Rivlin opened his speech in Arabic, greeting Jordan's King Abdullah and the royal family, as well as the Jordanian Ambassador to Israel.
"I would like to congratulate His Majesty King Abdullah bin al-Hussein, Her Majesty Queen Rania al Abdullah, Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, the Jordanian Ambassador, his honor Walid Obeidat and all Jordan's citizens on the 70th Independence Day of the Jordanian Hashemite Kingdom."
"I wish Jordan more prosperity," Rivlin said.
"My brothers and sisters, Jordan is a big and important state in our region. May you have a happy new year," Rivlin concluded his Arabic greeting.
After investing many efforts in speaking in Arabic, the president moved to speak in Hebrew, stating that: "We are proud to be Jordan's partners and support it in reinforcing peace and stability in the region."
