Having successfully made the move to American television, one of Israel's most popular TV series is now available on the Internet. In Treatment, the HBO drama based on Israeli series B'tipul, can now be downloaded free of charge on iTunes, where each of the episodes broadcast so far is now listed as part of the online library's offerings.
The first of several Israeli TV shows to be adapted for US audiences, B'tipul went on air in its American form late last month. The series, closely based on the Israeli original, received rave reviews in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, and will be followed by an HBO adaptation of another Hebrew-language series, Merhak Nigiya (A Touch Away), which proved a ratings smash here last year.
Last week's episodes of In Treatment are also available for free viewing on the HBO Web site.
