Hany Abu-Assad, the director of the movie, Paradise Now, will appear tonight at the Jerusalem Cinematheque at a screening of the film, along with the movie's stars, Kais Nashef and Ali Suliman.
The movie, which is opening at theaters tomorrow, has stirred controversy at film festivals around the world for its portrayal of two Palestinian suicide bombers planning an attack on Tel Aviv. The film will be screened at 9:30 p.m. The director's previous film, Rana's Wedding, won the Golden Anchor Award at the Haifa International Film Festival in 2003. - Hannah Brown
