Alrov Mamilla Avenue and the Mamilla Mall in Jerusalem are hosting a Purim carnival on Thursday and Friday.
Entrance to all events is free.
Alrov Mamilla Avenue will be replete from end to end with music, dancing, circus acts, acrobats, jugglers, giant carnival puppets and colorfully costumed characters parading on stilts. Anyone who comes in costume can be photographed by a professional photographer and receive a free souvenir magnet with their picture on it.
On Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Inside, in the amphitheater of the mall there will be a spectacular circus show that combines acrobatic stunts and fire jugglers, created especially for Purim. The show combines humor, suspense and exciting, surprising stunts suitable for the whole family. On Thursday from noon to 12:45 p.m.
In addition, on the second floor of the mall, over the Gap, there will be a Lego playroom, where children and their parents are invited to spend quality time and create shared structures and memories.
Thousands of Lego blocks in different colors and sizes, suitable for all ages, will be on hand for an original and creative activity.
Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Visitors can also see the “Muse” sculpture exhibition, the country’s largest outdoor exhibition, which opened a few weeks ago. It features the works of local artists who crafted sculptures of biblical, exotic and contemporary musical instruments, players and ensembles.
