When backlash to her tweet commenced, claiming Rihanna did indeed say "Palestine" in one of her songs, Harkov tweeted back:If every newspaper in the country sent ppl to the @rihanna concert & only Haaretz heard a pro-Palestinian comment, it probably didn't happen

The newspaper retracted the front-page story Thursday after concert-goers disputed the report and video surfaced showing that it was wrong, but not before the rumor spread.Harkov was pleased to learn that the story was eventually retracted from Haaretz: "@haaretzcom finally admitted to its #fail, retracted the @rihanna Palestine lie."Now we’re off to analyze other clips from the concert to rule out the possibility that “umbrella” wasn’t replaced by “occupation,” or whatever.@MiriamElder I was there and I didn't hear her say it. Only Haaretz reported it. I really don't think it's true.
