Ami Matthew Bonder is a certified conservator, specializing in traditional plaster techniques and building conservation. He has worked on many significant sites throughout Israel, including the western wall tunnels, Tel Megido, Tziporri, Montfort fortress, Herodium, Caesarea and many more. He is a father of four, and resides in Yodfat, which is in the lower Galilee region. He is also a blues musician, who built his own guitar using nothing but hand tools and traditional techniques. He is a sculpture, who has had numerous exhibitions, presenting his unique work using local stones and tadelakt plaster.
He is also an accomplished horseman, who specializes in traditional, non violent training methods.
