Gil Messing is the head of global corporate communications of the Israeli cyber security giant- Check Point Software Technologies.
He oversees the company’s communications strategies globally, leading communications professionals with over 30 public relations agencies and communications teams worldwide.
He previously served as External communications and Government relations director of the Strauss group. Prior to this position, Gil served as the chief advisor for Israel's leader of opposition, Vice Prime minister and minister of foreign affairs. Gil was also a member of the founding team and the spokesperson of Israel's governing party- kadima - and served as a press officer for the IDF in various positions (the last one was spokesperson for Israeli security forces in the Gaza Strip).
Gil was a research fellow at Kings College London and director of the political media program in the Israeli center for political training. He also taught communications and crisis management in several academic institutions.
Gil holds a master degree in law and a BA in government, strategy and diplomacy, both with high honors. He is married and a father of 3.
