Following the fear of Hezbollah's response to the beeper blast attack, Air France announced this evening (Tuesday) the cancellation of its flights to Israel tomorrow. At the same time, Lufthansa and Swiss also announced cancellations.
The cancellation of Air France comes after the company only recently returned to operating in Israel, after stopping its operations due to the security concern at the end of July. The two are likely to be joined by other foreign airlines that will soon announce the cancellation of flights to Israel, while there are still companies that have not yet returned to fly here.
Among the companies that have not yet returned to fly to Israel: Rainier, EasyJet, United Airlines, Delta, Wagging, Virgin Atlantic, Air India, Air Canada, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, American Airlines.
The Airports Authority states as of these hours that, for them, air activity in Israel continues as usual.
