Thousands of small and tiny businesses all over the country have been financially damaged since the outbreak of the Iron Swords War - including businesses whose owners were drafted into the reserves or businesses whose owners were forced to evacuate from the southern and northern settlements due to the situation.
A new campaign by Spark IL
- the social lending initiative of the Jewish Agency and the Ogan Group - calls on Israelis to help the small businesses that were damaged during the war.
Under the slogan "Don't donate to me - lend to me", the campaign offers each and every one of us to join a group of social lenders and choose the business that they would like to give a loan to in any amount they choose, starting from NIS 50 and up.
The campaign will appear in train stations, social networks and YouTube and will present stories of business owners who were affected during the war. Israelis will be able to enter the website of the social enterprise and choose the business they would like to support, from a variety of businesses presented on the website from different fields, in different regions of the country.
Further down the road, the social lenders can get back the loan they gave to the business or pass it on to another business that needs support. Spark IL's platform allows small and tiny businesses that were financially damaged during the war to receive a loan with the help of social lenders and through initial capital provided by the Jewish Agency and the Anchor Group. The scope of the loan for each business is up to NIS 100,000, without interest and without guarantors.
Naama Or, CEO of SparkIL: "Our project is another beautiful expression of the mutual guarantee in Israeli society. Small businesses are the heart of the Israeli economy and of Israeli society as a whole. Now we have the opportunity to give them love back and help them through a social loan and even by visiting the business down the road." Interested in granting a loan to a small business?
