The Gett Delivery company is expanding its express services to the business sector following the success of its initial deployment, which greatly increased the availability of immediate delivery services for customers.
During times of emergency, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and particularly in times of war, the activities of shipping companies become even more crucial. One of the primary challenges faced by these companies is the speed of service, which is almost paramount in the field of deliveries.
Similar to the company's taxi service, the Gett Delivery operation quickly locates a courier and connects them with the customer within a few minutes.
According to Roni Romano, director of Gett Delivery operations in Israel, the service will now be available in over 90 additional cities, including Be'er Sheva, Ashdod, Netanya, Or Akiva, Haifa, Tirat HaCarmel, and more.
"In recent years, there has been a growing demand for immediate express deliveries, especially evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, and this trend continues today. Customers no longer wish to wait several hours, let alone several days, for their orders to arrive. Unlike other market players who offer fast delivery within a few hours, we specialize in locating a courier and ensuring their arrival at the collection destination within minutes, offering a wide variety of shipping solutions.
"We aim to establish an unparalleled availability of deliveries to provide an essential solution for thousands of businesses across the country that have long required such a service," says Romano. He adds, "For instance, a courier residing in the Rosh Ha'ayin area, who previously had to commute to the Gush Dan area for work, can now handle deliveries in their own area. This expansion of service is significant news for both couriers and business owners, as well as private customers."
Gett Delivery commenced operations in 2015 and currently serves over ten thousand businesses across various sectors, including offices, high-tech companies, restaurants, and supermarkets. The service is accessible to private customers via the Gett application and encompasses several delivery options, including Gett Post services in collaboration with Israel Post.
