The Israeli reality unfolding in recent weeks has brought significant economic challenges. Dozens of successful business owners are immediately and unexpectedly forced to cope with a sharp decline in income, as established clients freeze ongoing work, new clients are uninterested, projects in progress are halted, and many employees of the business have been drafted under Order 8 and are currently in combat. All of this has dramatically impacted the functioning and income of tens of thousands of businesses.
Amidst this, a group of Israeli business owners launched a new initiative this week aimed at bringing in new target audiences. This time, not specifically from Israel, but through reaching out to global clients.
The platform, under the name Work with Israel, brings together business owners from various sectors, offering their services to companies and organizations abroad. The message is simple: we are not interested in donations, we are interested in you as clients.
Sophia Green, an Israeli who immigrated from France, with a public relations office that works with many international bodies, is the initiator of the move: "In recent years we have learned how much we live in a global world. There are many business owners who can provide services from anywhere in the world to customers anywhere in the world. Last month hit many successful businesses, which requires us to think creatively in a way that will bring them back to a path of growth and profitability.
We witness many exciting expressions of support from organizations around the world, and we actually call on them: Don't give us donations, create jobs for us. This will be the most empowering form of support. Support for Israeli businesses is support for the Israeli economy.
The platform includes business owners in a wide range of industries including marketing, legal editing, business consultancy, digital professions, content writing, video editing, programming, translation, real estate, and more. Since the platform was launched, hundreds of business owners have joined it. The platform will be promoted in many countries in Europe and the United States, including Jewish communities there.
