As we embrace Sunscreen Day, we've curated successful creams with delicate pigments for your protection and pleasure, sans the need for makeup in summer months. Here are five recommended products, emphasizing skin tone.
In the midst of the world's troubles, we find ourselves confronted with multiple challenges simultaneously. From cozy pajamas on the couch to elaborate face masks, reality has brought us back to an unnatural awakening, with weather from hell and skincare routines that include a minute's application whenever the traffic light turns red. In preparation for the return to routine, we've evaluated products to provide everything the epidermis currently craves in one swipe - moisture, coverage, and of course, essential sun protection. Our recommendation: low SPF for office and indoor activities; once you step into the scorching sun, give your face maximum protection with SPF30 and above.
Bobbi Brown - Nude Finish Tinted Moisturizer
Bobbi's smart cream is all you need to step out: basic SPF15, light moisturization, an enchanting scent, and a finish that screams "no makeup makeup." Natural, healthy coverage that evens skin tone and blurs redness. Life tip for both life and this specific product: patience. Upon application, it appears nearly transparent, with the "I woke up like this 12-hour sleep" effect kicking in only after complete absorption.

Available on the brand's website and stores.
Clinique - Moisture Surge Sheertint
Clinique offers pleasant moisture with SPF25 in their Moisture Surge line, available in five shades. Described as "subtle and natural," it functions more like a successful makeup with medium coverage. As always, especially this time, it's advisable to match the suitable shade beforehand - even the lighter ones contain a hint of undertone that may not suit everyone.

Available at pharmacy chains and brand stores.
HL - Age Defense
Enhanced protection and SPF50 can be found in HL's cream, housed in a hefty glass bottle not quite suitable for casual bag carrying. It may not look like a typical sunscreen, but it definitely feels like one, with a relatively thick and rich texture that settles on the skin and remains present, at least in sensation. The product comes in limited shades: light and medium. While light suits fairer snow-like skin, medium supposedly fits everyone else, including lighter tones. However, a fair-skinned conventional tester found the medium shade disappointingly dark, despite its highly successful coverage.

Available at authorized cosmeticians.
Paula Blick - Demi Makeup Sun Active Defense
Paula's demi makeup also comes with SPF50 but in a more reasonable texture - abundant yet pleasant moisture that doesn't burden the skin. The coverage is particularly thorough, functioning as makeup for all occasions, closing the chapter on the need for additional layers. Here too, the catch lies in the shade - like Cinderella's slipper, but reversed, it comes in only one color, definitely not neutral, which didn't quite suit our fair-skinned tester.
Price: NIS 180.
Available at www.polablick.com or at the clinic on Zerzki Street, Tel Aviv.
Estee Lauder - Double Wear Flawless Hydrating Primer
Estee's new primer is an excellent solution even without makeup on top, provided you arrive with a flawless epidermis from home. In the initial minutes, it feels and applies like the sunscreen of yesteryears - slightly oily, somewhat heavy, a tad shiny, but the wait pays off. With SPF45 and a texture that turns out to be a delight (especially for drier skin), it manages to leave the visage with a uniform, smooth, non-silicone finish.
