Hilton is expanding its operations in Italy and is currently opening hotel number 37: The "Anglo American Florence" hotel will be managed under the Curio Collection by Hilton brand, and includes 118 rooms and suites, offering a combination of historical charm and modern luxury in the heart of the city.
The hotel was opened after careful renovation and conservation work, since it is housed in a building from the 19th century. The person behind the impressive design is the architect Chiara Caberlon. The architect managed to keep the hotel's old charm, but incorporated modern design elements. The hotel has an open and romantic courtyard and a modern jazz bar.
Hilton Vice President and President Europe, Middle East and Africa Simon Vincent said: "Tuscany's natural beauty and unique culture have drawn visitors from around the world for decades. Characterized by its unique design and locally inspired dining options, Anglo American Hotel Florence, Curio Collection by Hilton is an outstanding addition to Florence's vibrant hotel scene. Florence has an amazing list of things to do and places to see, and we are extremely proud to open our newest Hilton property here."
