For the past six months, the Magdala Hotel on the banks of the Sea of Galilee has been a home for members of Kibbutz Yiron. This week, the hotel that is loved by pilgrims, opens its doors again to a group of tourists from abroad and Passover to all.
At the same time as the return to routine, the management of "Magdala" chose to stick as much as possible to the original cultural program associated with it, and opens a new series of concerts for 2024.
The concert series consists of eleven concerts, with the participation of seven different ensembles among them: Alma Kol Neshi Israeli, the Philharmonic Quartet, the Madrigal Ensemble, the Finale and Clarinet Quartet, the Harp and Accordion Ensemble, Maya Amir, soprano accompanied by musicians, the Reeds Trio. The entire program emphasizes classical, diverse and world-wide repertoire.
The Magdala Center on the banks of the Sea of Galilee has engraved on its flag basic values that focus on peace, powerful nature that surrounds the site, a glorious history that echoes from the remains of the ancient fishing village "Magdala" and unique cultural content.
"The year 2024 opened in Magdala in a different and unplanned way than the forecast. Alongside the complex reality, we made a decision to try and preserve a cultural routine as much as possible, to continue holding the concert program that we conducted only last year with great success. We see great importance in combining culture and high-quality musical content that is in line with the values of Magdala. I invite all classical music lovers to take a quality break and enjoy a wonderful cultural taste on the Sea of Galilee" said Maron Eduard Issa, CEO of Magdala.
