Dyson expands its product range with the Dyson WashG1, its first wet-dry vacuum. The WashG1 combines soaking, absorption, and drying technology, providing simultaneous wet cleaning of dry and wet surfaces while automatically separating waste for easy maintenance.
"We all clean our homes regularly," says Charlie Park, Dyson's Deputy Vice President of Research and Development. "Over the years, various formats of wet floor cleaning have emerged to help us tackle this task, but user expectations have often been unmet in terms of stain removal and floor cleaning. Dyson engineers address the issues others overlook, and we are proud of the challenge of creating better technology. The Dyson WashG1 is the result; our first dedicated wet vacuum for floor washing, as it should be."
The WashG1 is equipped with two high-absorbency rollers rotating in opposite directions. These rollers consist of microfiber with high absorbency, with 64,800 threads per square meter. This combination of high-density microfiber and precise dispersion of clean water ensures fluid absorption. Additionally, Dyson's unique separation technology separates waste and dirty water for hygienic disposal without contact.
Furthermore, the WashG1 is designed with water control, allowing users to select the required hydration level based on the type of waste or flooring. The low, medium, and high modes each operate continuously once selected, providing enhanced hydration levels accordingly. Each mode also includes three additional settings, allowing users to adjust them to their personal cleaning needs.
According to the Israeli importer, the new vacuum will also arrive in Israel during the upcoming summer.
