After a sales slowdown in May, car importers are offering discounts.
In a surprising move, the Skoda Champion Motors importer, published an updated price list for two popular models that reflect a constant price reduction. The Crossover Kamiq is discounted by NIS 7,000-8,000 for the turbo gasoline 1,000 SMQ models, at NIS 134,000 for the Selection base model, and NIS 146,000 for the Selection Style.
The Super Mini Fabia, 1,000 SMQ as well, is discounted by NIS 5,500-6,000, now costing NIS 117,500 for the Selection trim level and NIS 121,000 for the Selection Plus. This makes the Fabia one of the cheapest super minis on the market, which may help it compete for Hyundai i20 customers, as its import to Israel was discontinued due to the trade embargo imposed on Israel by the Turkish president, under which the car is produced.
The full importer, BYD Motors, is offering discounts on its electric cars until June 10. The compact Dolphin is now offered at NIS 136,000 for the base Comfort version, an NIS 8,000 discount off the list price. The fully equipped Design version is offered at NIS 141,000, reflecting a NIS 9,000 discount.
The Crossover ATTO 3 is currently offered at a price starting from NIS 164,500, reflecting a discount of NIS 4,000. The Chevrolet Silverado is offered at a price starting from NIS 2113,000, also reflecting a discount of NIS 4,000.
Meanwhile, the Fiat importer offers the 3+1 version of the Fiat 500e, equipped with an additional small door that improves access to the rear seat, for NIS 130,000, reflecting a discount of NIS 25,000 from the list price.
The Chevrolet importer UMI has been continuing the discount promotion of NIS 14,000on the Crossover Trailblazer for half a year, which is still offered at NIS 146,000 in the base LS version.
